Manjiv Singh Vohra, P.E., DBIA
President & CEO

Mr. Manjiv S. Vohra is the President & CEO of
ECC, and is a member of ECC’s Board of
Directors. ECC is a diversified environmental,
construction, UXO and special projects firm,
focusing on various agencies of the U.S.
Government as a market. The firm is in the top
100 contractors in the U.S. and is frequently
rated in the Top 50 for various DoD agencies. It
has won many awards from OSHA, National Safety
Society, Society of American Military Engineers,
Small Business Administration, SAVE
International, and the Department of Veterans
Affairs.
He has been with ECC for more than twenty-two
years, and has overseen the growth of the firm
as a CEO since 2000. Prior to his current
position, he has held the positions of Executive
Vice President, Vice President – Operations,
Program Manager, Project Manager and Project
Engineer.
Manjiv received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering
from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India; M.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University,
New Orleans, LA; and an MBA from University of
San Francisco. He is a Registered Environmental
Professional; a registered Professional Engineer
in Civil Engineering; and has the DBIA
designation from the Design-Build Institute of
America. Manjiv is a member of Tau Beta Pi
(National Engineering Honor Society, Omega Chi
Epsilon (National Chemical Engineering Honor
Society) and Beta Gamma Sigma (National Business
Honor Society). He is involved in many
professional societies, including the Society of
American Military Engineers (where he has served
on the Senior Executive Group) and SAVE
International.
Manjiv has been involved in the environmental
engineering and remediation industry since 1988,
and has expertise in various areas of
environmental engineering, including thermal
desorption and radioactive contaminants, as well
as unexploded ordnance. He is also experienced
in the design/build construction of commercial
facilities, schools, governmental buildings and
military bases. Manjiv has worked on and
overseen projects in many areas of the world,
including North America, the Pacific Region
(Japan, Korea, Guam, Saipan and Hawaii),
Australia, Germany, Eastern Europe (Russia,
Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan),
Southwestern Asia (Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar) and
South Asia (Afghanistan).
Manjiv has a strong interest in project
management and value engineering as disciplines
that add (or remove) a tremendous amount of
value in many industries, particularly in the
construction industry.
Manjiv is married to Dr. Poonam Vohra, MD, who
is a cyto-pathologist on the faculty at
University of California, San Francisco.
