Peter Su

Peter Su has more than 15 years of organizational management track record in the public sector and corporate governance analyzing, developing, implementing change to improve organizational effectiveness. He is a subject matter expert in corporate business development, state & federal legislative affairs, strategic communications, information technology, and international affairs. He has worked with USTR, WTO, European Parliament and numerous foreign governments in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East on commerce & trade. He currently serves as a regulatory affairs advisor to the EVP of Asia Pacific of a major NASDAQ company with over $8B in revenues.

Peter has a masters degree in computer science and is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Executive Program. He has served in a variety of leadership positions in government.

His accomplishments include receiving State Department's Meritorious Service Award; the Torch Bearer Award - highest honor from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce while serving as Agency Head for the Virginia Department of Business Assistance. And as the Assistant Secretary of Commerce & Trade, Peter was a key member of Virginia's job creations, economic development team. Peter was responsible for developing the highly successful Virginia Business One Stop web portal (www.bos.virginia.gov).

In the Federal Government, Peter served as a Country Director at the Pentagon responsible for developing, implementing national security policies, & administered $3 Billion in DSCA foreign military sales program to an Asia Pacific partner. Peter also served as senior legislative advisor at the U.S. Treasury Department and the State Department. On Capitol Hill, Peter served as a State Department adviser to the Congressional U.S.-China Working Group and the U.S.-China Interparliamentary Exchange.

Peter has participated in the expert round table on international trade with the National Governors and the Southern Governors Association; Expert round table on cross-straight relations at CSIS; and is a Life Member of the American Council of Young Political Leaders.
