VINCENT ADRIAN ENG
Mr. Vincent A. Eng is the Legal
Director of the National Asian Pacific American Legal Consortium,
Washington, DC (2000 to Present) , and also an Adjunct Associate
Professor of Law at the American University in Washington, DC
(1999-Present). Previously, he was the Managing Editor of Bernan
Associates (1999-2000), the Almanac Publishing, Inc. (1999), and
the Legal Publishing Division of Bernan Press (1998-1999). From
1995 to 1997, he was an Attorney-Advisor (Honors Programs) of the
U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Eng is a member of the
Supreme Court of the United States (2000-Present), and also a
member of Maryland Court of Appeals (1995-Present). He received
his Juris Doctor (JD) in 1995, and his Master of Science (MSJ) in
1995 from American University in Washington, DC. He earned his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University in 1992. In
1995, he received the U.S. Department of Justice Assistant
Attorney General’s Award.
Mr. Eng has edited and co-edited
such publications as, Sentencing, Sanctions, and Corrections
Federal and State: Law, Policy and Practice (New York: The
Foundation Press, Inc., 2002, 2d ed.); The Almanac of the
Executive Branch (Lanham, MD: Bernan Press, 2001, 5th.

Mr. Eng has been involved in
many professional and other organizations. He is a council member
of the Washington College of Law, Graduates of the Last Decade
Council (2002-Present); chair of the Leadership Conference on
Civil Rights Committee on Language Rights (2002-Present);
Braintrust Advisor of the Minority Media and Telecommunications
Council (2002-Present); committee member of Washington College of
Law, Reunion Committee (2001); member of Maryland Trial Lawyers
Association Committee on Education and Programs (1999-2000);
member and editor of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association,
Trial Reporter Committee (1999-2000); member of the Maryland
Trial Lawyers Association, Committee on Fundraising (1999-2000);
member of the U.S. Attorney General’s Committee on Pro Bono Legal
Activities (1996-1997); and member of the U.S. Office of Justice
Programs, Advisory Committee (1996-1997).
Son of Mr. Vincent K. Eng and
Mrs. Candy T. Eng (Chuong), Mr. Eng was born in Vandenburg AFB,
CA. Currently, he lives in Potomac Falls, Virginia with his wife
Claudia Lewis.
