Tony Lee
Tony Lee is working as a
software developer for business applications in
Boeing (Long Beach, CA). He is currently
pursuing for his second Masters Degree in
Software Development & Management from Rochester
Institute of Technology University, New York.
Tony Lee is an active
member in ACM (Association for Computing
Machinery), where he serves as a conference
paper reviewer for Special Interest Group on
Computer Science Education (SIG-CSE). In
addition, he has written several published
articles.
Tony Lee was National
Science Foundation scholar for two consecutive
years in 2002-2004. He was also selected for
The Regents scholar in year 2001-2004.
Tony Lee was also one of
two Golden Key Scholarship recipients for
2002-2003. He was interviewed by the newspaper
editor from University of California, Irvine to
publish his biography in the New University for
the February 2003 issue.
Tony Lee came to the United
States in 1991, at the age of 18 as a refugee
from Vietnam, knowing less than twenty words of
English. He earned an Associate Degree in
Computer Science with a perfect GPA from Golden
West College, Huntington Beach CA. Tony Lee
subsequently completed his Bachelors Degree
Magna Cum Laude in Information & Computer
Sciences from the University of California,
Irvine in 2004. Prior to coming back to pursue
a higher education, he worked as a programmer
analyst at Boeing in Long Beach, CA. In June
2006, he graduated with a Masters Degree in
Networked Systems from University of California,
Irvine. Finally, he returned to work at Boeing
where he has worked since then.
